Carlo Zoli presented by INES Forme d'Arte
Contemporary fine art inspired by myth, history and legend.
A mythological reflection
on the antithesis of life.
The artist Carlo Zoli's actual series, entitled 'Stillness and Storm', evinces a poetic output derived from the concepts of struggles, challenges, energy, strength, but also stillness and serenity.
This series explores the duality of existence, as exemplified by the heroic actions of the creatures and figures he has crafted, including deities. Carlo Zoli elucidates the passions and sentiments of these figures, which remain unaltered to the present day.
Carlo Zoli, a highly esteemed artist, is the fourth generation of his family to engage in the craft of Faenza ceramics. His artistic practice is centred on the utilisation of clay, with a particular emphasis on the creation of figurative and narrative compositions in polychrome terracotta. The artist's oeuvre draws inspiration from a multitude of sources, including mythological traditions, historical events and legendary narratives.
Carlo Zoli is represented by INES Forme d'Arte, Faenza (RA), Italy, an innovative platform for the promotion and mediation of contemporary art.
